HUÉ
explore the city with the cyclo

"This cyclo tour is a good way to see some of the major sights in and around Hue and is perfect for those who only have 1-2 days in town. Our guide Danny was very helpful and lively. His English was excellent and he provided us with clear background information at each stop as was happy to answer any extra questions.
He also made sure the tour kept progressing at a good pace, neither too slow nor too fast. Lunch was excellent with a set menu with lots of variety and a generous amount of food; a vegetarian option is also available and Danny our guide asked us about any food requests or allergies at the beginning of the tour. Great day overall, good value for money.".

Cyclo through the City

The cyclo - is a three-wheel bicycle taxi that appeared in Vietnam during the French colonial period after a failed attempt to introduce rickshaws. A double seat is supported by the two front wheels, with the driver sitting behind. The design in Ho Chi Minh City differs from the Hanoi variety in that the driver sits much higher (as do the prices!). In the big cities, their use as a means of passenger transport has all but vanished over the last two or three years. Taxi fares have dropped, and fleets of buses with low fixed fares have greatly undercut the market - a journey from one side of either of the major cities to the other cost less than half a kilometre in a cyclo.

Close to the Forbidden city

When you arrive in Hué, you will be overwhelmed by the calm and peaceful atmosphere.
You will be impressed by the influence that Hué people have on the city. Because the city of Hué is so peaceful, a visit to Hué by Cyclo seems a good choice for tourists looking for the easiest and most rustic way to discover Hué. The cyclo had remained as a popular tourism attraction in Hué.

Today cyclo has disappeared from many streets in big cities, but this will not be right in Hué. There are still more than 3000 cycles in Hué. The cyclo is part of the memories of the old city of Hué.
If you have the opportunity to visit Hué, do not hesitate to spend your day with the cheap cyclo, where you will be introduced to many interesting things about Hué.

Cyclo transport is currently very attractive in Hué and the most suitable in the city center. A visit to the city on a cyclo will give the visitor a completely different feeling compared to traveling by bus, car or motorcycle.
If you rent a cyclo to explore Hué, you not only get the cheapest way of transportation, but you also get a great guide, because nobody understands this city and loves it as a cyclo-driver. Thanks to the experience and knowledge of cyclo-drivers, visitors get to know more about life in Hué-life, the people, the culture and tourism.
You hear both sad and fun stories about this old capital. Especially if you want to explore the city in the evening and enjoy the Hué cuisine for the locals, Cyclo is the most convenient way of transport.

You can easily rent a cyclo and ask the driver to drive you wherever you want to go. For only (approximately) 4 Euro per hour. What you can discover by bike in Hué: the Citadel, the ancient tombs, Ngu Binh Mountain, Perfume River and you get to know the daily life of the local population.
